Account Deletion

Effective: May 7, 2026 · Revised: May 7, 2026

This notice describes how to close your Clepa profile and what happens to information tied to it afterward. It works together with our Privacy Policy and User Agreement.

1. What Deletion Means

Clepa is a mobile experience centered on discovery, forum-style discussions, shared posts, likes, follows, private communication, memberships, AI assistance, and digital gifts. Closing your account ends your ability to sign in and detaches your identity from most material we store. Uninstalling the app alone does not erase server-side records.

2. Who Can Ask to Delete

The individual who controls the credentials for the profile must submit the request, or an authorized representative where law permits and we can validate the relationship.

3. How to Submit a Request

  • Inside the app: when a self-service switch is available, open Profile or Settings and run the guided closure flow.
  • Email: message us from the address linked to your Clepa login at clepa2026@hotmail.com. Use the subject "Clepa account deletion" and include the phone number, username, or internal identifier shown in the app.

If you lost access to your inbox, write from any channel you still control and supply alternate proof such as recent purchases, device model, or approximate join date.

4. Security Checks

We may confirm that a closure request comes from the profile owner through one-time codes, recap of recent activity, or other verification. We may pause deletion when an account is inside an abuse review, chargeback, subpoena, or similar hold.

5. Data We Aim to Erase

After verification, we delete or irreversibly scramble personal fields we can isolate: display name, bio, avatar, saved preferences, follow graphs tied to your user id, private drafts, and notification tokens.

Public posts or replies may be stripped of attribution, removed, or kept in aggregated statistics depending on product design and whether other people rely on the thread. Screenshots, quotes, or reposts exported by others sit outside Clepa's reach.

6. Conversations and Notifications

Your side of a direct conversation may disappear from our servers after closure when engineering allows, while recipients could still hold local copies. Push tokens and notification history tied to your id are generally deleted.

7. Categories That Can Linger

  • Snapshot archives: encrypted backups may hold redundant copies until they naturally rotate.
  • Compliance artifacts: ledgers proving we answered regulators, courts, or card-network rules.
  • Safety fingerprints: one-way hashes or device signals that block repeat harassment without storing raw biographies.
  • Analytics blends: cohort counts that cannot be reversed to identify you.

8. Processing Window

Our goal is to finish verified closures within thirty (30) calendar days, sooner when systems permit. Where local law imposes a faster clock for specific privacy rights, we follow the stricter schedule for those pieces.

9. Forums, Shared Feeds, and Paid Features

Threads you started might continue with anonymized authorship or vanish if no other participant would be harmed. Purchases processed by Apple or Google remain governed by their refund and cancellation policies. Closing Clepa access does not automatically stop recurring billing; manage subscriptions through the store console.

10. Opening Another Profile

Unless we issued a platform ban, you may register again with a fresh handle. Prior content does not resurrect automatically, and we may block recycled identifiers that could confuse the community.

11. Updates and Contact

We will refresh this page when product flows or statutes shift. Deletion questions: clepa2026@hotmail.com.
